Each and every kid has their own dream of doing something different in life. There is only one way to all dreams which is a good education. I am a student at Sunbeam CBSE School. It is situated on Chittoor Road, Katpadi, Vellore. The school buildings are very impressive. All the rooms are well ventilated. There is a big library which has a good stock of books. Reading books increases one’s wisdom, intelligence and common sense. The school has big laboratories equipped with the necessary apparatus and scientific instruments. My school is up to the 12th standard. All staff members are capable of efficient and hard work. My school correspondent is Ms. Thangaprakash who is a National Best Teacher Awardee and my school Chairman is Mr. T. Harigopalan who always strives to give an excellent infrastructure and an enabling environment in our school. We have activity centres like a language Lab, Maths Lab, Robotics Lab, Library, Computer Centre, Audio Visual Centre which is fully air-conditioned. Our indoor table tennis courts, modern multi-gym, floodlit basketball courts, indoor synthetic badminton court, tennis complex, science parks, play centre, football field, volleyball, throwball, cricket nets and handball courts are professionally made. A fleet of sixty well-maintained vehicles, 4,000 capacity auditorium, spacious modern canteen, well-furnished music rooms and exquisite greenery with avifauna make our Sunbeam School a paradise. Our restrooms are state of art and well maintained. The entire flooring and walls are beautifully layered with ceramic tiles. Our classrooms are “smart classes”. Large doors and windows bring in daylight and fresh air making our classrooms healthy. My school arranges entertainment programmes every month. They provide talent shows where we are given an opportunity to shine. We also hold debates, competitions and sports every year. I meet enlightened teachers who impart to me the light of knowledge and thus illumine my world which would otherwise remain dark. I also meet my friends in the form of our classmates who make my world colourful and vibrant with their friendship and cooperation. At school, I get the exposure to participate in various academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities which hone my personality. I get all-round training at school. My time just flies at school. The school years pass at a fast pace doing meaningful and skill development activities. There are many trees and plants on the huge campus. The trees and flower plants in the queue produce beautiful natural scenes. We have been told in school about how trees and plants are important to us. We have the opportunity to take part in the cultural program ‘SUNFEST’, science exhibitions in addition to studying and sports in the school. It develops qualities like honesty, patience and mutual co-operation in us. Everything in my school is systematic, disciplined, collaborative and entertaining. I also convey my appreciation to all the teachers for their hard work which has brought such prestige to the school.
