Sunbeam Instilled The Leadership Qualities In Me!!!

Hey, I am Kamesh R and I have been a part of the Sunbeam family since 2008. The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word Sunbeam is my friends. They are my besties and they will be forever. I still remember my first day, I took Sunbeam Bus No.3, which was violet(crazy right?) at that time. I didn’t see faces inside the bus (oh yes, I was too scared) and went straight to the last seat and sat next to a senior Akka. Everyone around me started giggling, I wasn’t aware of the fact that Boys were seated at the front and the rest were reserved for girls. Obviously, this will not be a good start to any. Sunbeam is always the greatest, largest, famous and trustworthy school in Vellore.

Right from my first day in Sunbeam, I never saw Sunbeam stop growing. Huge and beautiful infrastructure, large playgrounds and brilliant teachers.Made some friends right on the first day and I can proudly say that they are still in my besties list. Then in a few days, I became a Sunbeamian. Yes, started doing and being a part of all the Canteen, Restroom, Lunch Break, Class Room, Nick Names atrocities. Relationship Rumour atrocities (I had some on me too.. Lol.. ) from 8 grade.I represented Sunbeam in various interschool sports events and fortunately won some too. The best part of my school life was the dance performances that I gave right from my grade VI to XII. I was pretty popular in school thanks to my extracurricular activities. These people helped me throughout my middle school, secondary school and later part of life too.

Sunbeam provided me with a great platform to grow as a person. I learned more lessons outside the classroom than inside. It always gives me immense pleasure and pride whenever I see news or social media posts about the achievements of students of Sunbeam. Sunbeam always treats sports and culturals as equal to academics which I  admire the most. Any program or function nearing? VPs never hesitate to call me. VPs come to my class and call me with authority every time- ” Dai Kamesh, Vaa da..”. I am always proud of helping them with all sorts of things, right from organizing a dance performance to gathering students. They never gave up on me. Sunbeam instilled the leadership qualities in me!!! Then my grade XI started. It was like a new start since 80% of my classmates and batch were new. Made friends with my classmates and faculties, they are still close to me. Certainly, sunbeam days are the best days that ever happened in my life and in every Sunbeamians life.

I joined Sunbeam to study. But more importantly, I learned life here.

Thanks,
